I just completed the initial setup of my Hubitat system. I am unable to arm night or away in HSM. I selected Arm Away/Night & tried changing the mode but it still continues to state “Intrusion Disarmed”
My water sensors and my custom door left open alert is armed. But I can't get intrusion to arm.
And how do I setup the Iris keypad to change modes. So if I type my code:
ON = Will Run Away Mode
Partial = Will Run Night Mode
1234-> Off = Will Run Home Mode
Can the keypad run the mode as well? Not just disarm the security? Currently it does neither.
I did set the code and the keypad responds and the status updates on devices. But no changes occur on HSM -> it just continues to state intrusion disarmed.
Could you take a screenshot of your keypad codes area? You can delete the code and name on the screenshot.
I believe you have something wrong on the codes. I have the Iris keypad and typing the code then pressing the ON or PARTIAL key should change the HSM status and the mode of the hub.
Settings attached. But I think the problem is with HSM, I keep on changing modes and selecting Arm Away/Night on the browser interface. But it still states intrusion disarmed...it's not arming
Just updated the hub and HSM appears to be functional. But the keypad isn't working (it doesn't run the mode or arm/disarm) and I am not receiving the intrusion alert text messages.
Haven't been happy with the Hubitat system...I was really hoping I would like it.
I've been messing with these keypads and HSM for the past few days (author of HSM). I must say, they are a hot mess of a device.
I'd like to help you get this working. There are some fixes and upgrades for HSM and the Centralite Keypad coming in the next release (the stuff I've been working on). As I worked on it, I did discover a couple of minor issues in the Centralite driver.
My suggestion is to walk through this like a troubleshooter. First, see if HSM is responding correctly for arming and disarming from its user interface. Next, pull up the device page for the keypad in a separate tab, and see if it is doing the right thing when armed/disarmed from the HSM UI. If you encounter anything not right in those first two steps, please let me know.
The next phase would be to move to arm/disarm from the keypad. I'd start with no pin required for arming, with code required for disarm. Again, have both HSM UI and keypad device page open in tabs, and check them as you go. The HSM UI page will need to be refreshed to see it's most recent state after any step you take. And again, please let me know of anything not right as you progress.
Not at the moment, but later this morning, I will be able to be by my test setup with these keypads, and I could reproduce the steps you take, and see (hopefully) the same things you are seeing. We will get it sorted out.
HSM appears to be responding via the UI! Also, changing the mode updates HSM (to Night/Away/Disarm) 95% of the time (once when I switched to Away mode it didn't arm).
So the keypad appears to be arming/disarming HSM right now. But it doesn't change the mode - how do I let it change the mode?
Here is the current main issue. I have set arming/alert delay to 55 seconds on Arm-Away. I decided to test the alerts but I didn't receive anything. HSM just states delayed intrusion pending and I waited 3 minutes but didn't receive anything. At Night Mode when I opened the contact sensor HSM didn't even acknowledge any sort of intrusion! Last night I made my moisture sensor go off and HSM didn't notify me.
What is the entry delay feature on the keypad? Exit delay on the keypad is keeps on resorting to 55 seconds. I am testing this in an apartment and the keypad beeping is very loud!
This is my second location (only at it once a week for a few hours). Currently I am away and created a virtual contact sensor for testing. I can provide you with the OpenVPN profile for my network if you would like to connect to my hub?
Could you post a screenshot of the HSM apps status page, and of your HSM main page? Status page to be found under circle i on Apps page, to the right of HSM link.
If what can be done remotely? The volume? Don't know, but I doubt it. Sounds like a physical thing since you have to hold the button. I think you can even turn the sound off that way.
I think you are using HE text alerts, can you try Pushover? The text alerts has a 10 text per day limit (this will change when the HE phone app gets released), Pushover is unlimited and it works good, you can make the phone alert you even if it is in silence.
