I just added Hub Protect when I already had remote admin. They are listed as separate charges and I just learned there is a bundle. How do I get the advantages of the bundle vs. the separate subs?
That's a question for @bobbyD
Currently, there isn’t an easy way to upgrade. However, the total cost remains the same if you subscribe separately using the available promotions.
At this time, the only benefit of switching to the bundle would be having a single, consolidated bill.
We do plan to support upgrades in the near future, but I don’t have a specific timeline for when that enhancement will be available.
So $75/yr is normal for single subs vs a bundle? Kind of pricey actually to maintain remote access and cloud backups that are required if my hub hardware kicks the bucket. I’d rather support your continued efforts in improving the platform instead of buying likely low level insurance that I could probably be more confident in. Disappointing.
No, not $75. First subscription should be $45. Second product should be 60% off on the same hub: $45 + $18 = $63.
You are supporting our continued efforts, by using our platform. If you don't see the value of the additional services, remember, they are not required.
You are correct sir. Thanks Bob. I went back and checked subs at it is now showing the discounted bundle price. Thanks for your quick feedback. I love the platform. I’ve been in the DIY home automation domain for 20+ years. From X10, to zwave (vera and now Hubitat) and zigbee. Hubitat has not disappointed. The power, flexibility , community and support is second to none. Thank you.
