Honeywell T6 Pro ZWAVE - T6 Settings Change -

I have the t6 Pro zwave Tstat TH6320ZW2003. I want to change some settings on the T6 and in the Honeywell Install Guide they recommend you EXCLUDE the device then make changes and then INCLUDE the device. I have a C-8 Pro that i upgraded to in January from a 6 yr old C-5. My question is, is the EXCLUDE really necessary?

I have the same thermostat.
I don't think the exclude is necessary, but I don't know for sure.
If you change any settings in the tstat.. I would then run the configure on the hubitat device commands screen again.

Which driver are you using for the tstat?

Apologies to answer this with a story but... I was gonna say The Generic driver but I installed it on the C-8 Pro by choosing the actual device in the Brand option. Next thing I know it asked me if I wanted to replace one of my Thermostats to which I replied Hell Yeah. Next thing I know is the install is finished and the little man pops out of the C-8 Pro and starts serving cocktails. I have only had a couple of things to do with this HUB and its been very smooth, not like some of the teeth pulling i got used to with the C-5. See Device Screen Snip, Thanks for your reply.

I'm using @thebearmay Advanced Honeywell T6 driver.

He has every configuration possible in the preferences section of the driver.

Yep. That is the one I was going to suggest.

That's fantastic!
I'm still on a C-7... but I see an upgrade path in my near future
