Hi there! I’ve been having a lot of difficulty getting Siri to change colors and color temperatures of my Sengled Element Plus bulbs. Using the Apple Home app UI usually works, but voice control is basically impossible. I am getting the same experience as in this thread from 2024:
Looking at the logs for a bulb, a voice command seems to issue the following to the bulbs, sequentially:
Saturation (100)
Hue (0)
On
There is no way to use voice to get a change from RGB to CT. Once the above sequence happens, it’s quite stuck — even the Home app can’t recover color control. The bulb has to be toggled into CT mode and back for functionality to work again.
The bulb is properly responsive to all commands from the Hubitat UI during this. It’s specifically a Siri command to change color or color temperature that bombs out the integration.
Open to sharing any logs that might be helpful. I did try type-to-Siri to ensure it was transcribing me correctly (it is).
