HELP!-Z-Wave Firmware Update erased all of my Z-Wave settings

While attempting to update my C7 Z-Wave firmware in as a prerequisite for migrating to a new C8 Pro, all of my Z-Wave settings were erased. I was following the instructions here:

I have approximately 40 Z-Wave devices which continue to appear in the Devices list. I tried a shutdown, power down, and restart, but the Z-Wave settings still appear to be erased. I'm panicking...

Not that I can help, but I would not try anything more until @jtp10181 weighs in. Or @bobbyD , or @thebearmay , etc. Somebody that knows his stuff. It is the weekend though...

you physically removed the power from the hub, waited 20 seconds or so, and then replaced the wire?

Yes. I waited 10 minutes or so.

Have you looked in the logs for any clues?

The log is empty.

Are things working?

None of my Z-Wave devices are responding.

FIXED!!! I re-entered http://hubIP/advanced/installZipgateway18 and my Z-Wave settings returned.....my lucky charms today I guess. I tested a couple of Z-Wave devices and they work...Whew!!!

http://hubIP/hub/zwaveVersion returns:

VersionReport(zWaveLibraryType:7, zWaveProtocolVersion:7, zWaveProtocolSubVersion:18, firmware0Version:7, firmware0SubVersion:18, hardwareVersion:1, firmwareTargets:1, targetVersions:[[target:1, version:7, subVersion:18]])

Looks like I'm on firmware 7.18 also.

Good for you!

edit: And I just found that a leaking RayOVac battery seems to be the cause of a Hue motion sensor not working. I think that's the second time RayOVac has screwed me over. They're all outa here.

Thanks for responding and suggesting solutions. BTW: I've never had an issue with DuraCell batteries.

I know. Penny wise, pound foolish.
Weekends are tough to get assistance.

Sorry I was out of town but looks like it got sorted out!
