Greenwave Powernode 5/6 extension driver

Thanks @Royski - I updated the driver today.
So far I've not seen the flashing. Any easy way to increase the refresh interval to 5 or 10 minutes ?

5 mins is already supported, just updated the drivers on github to support 10 mins :+1:

@Royski - Thanks again! I am missing just how the refresh interval is changed. I do not see it as a setting or choice on the device settings page. I updated the parent driver by copying the driver code into the existing driver (after clearing the existing) - is that right ?

Once you enable "Enable Auto Poll" then save, the field will become visible.
Set the interval required, then save again. :+1:

And yeah, pasting over should be fine. However, take a look at your drivers, maybe you have more than one?

Thanks - enabling auto poll (and saving!) did the trick
Sorry for all the noobie questions...

@Royski - after loading the updated driver I see this error in the logs (it goes away if auto poll is turned off).

Sorry, which do you have the 5 or 6 strip?

6 plug strip

I've tried reproducing this, I have the 5 strip, but the drivers are identical.
The only differences between them are I don't have the options for turning on/off the 6th plug.

Even with debug on, I don't see any errors.

I have the 6 outlet strip and am seeing this in my log. Both drivers have been installed since May and I see the strip and child devices. I am able to switch each plug off and on.
Any input on why the error showing in the log?

Hi, you seem to be using an old parent driver.

Can you update from this link?

Thanks

Hey Royski, using the latest driver linked immediately below, I'm seeing errors. And not sure if we've discussed already?

Could you try commenting these lines out, and see how you go?

Not sure why V1 and V2 are there.

def zwaveEvent(hubitat.zwave.commands.configurationv1.ConfigurationReport cmd) {
if (logEnable) log.debug "Greenwave v1 configuration report received"
}

Awesome, thank you. That's fixed now it's complaining about line 399

does the word "energy" need to be something else or is it okay to say "energy" twice? (I don't know jack about this)

Sorry man, completely forgot to reply!

Hmmmm this is odd as these things haven't changed, but now giving issues :frowning:
Not sure whether I'm talented enough to troubleshoot it though. Its not been happening here.
Although I have disconnected mine for now, its a Christmas thing

I have an uneducated guess, or rather tweak it till it breaks. I'm going to unpair, and then give it a good talkin to, then re-pair.
The last time I did this went crazy, forgot you have to unplug/plug for the pair button to function.

Side note- if pairing is not 100% correct, does a "configure" take care of that or is re-pair the only way?
Thanks Royski

The configure will just update the preferences, so not much.

Please do try the re-pairing though, I know from my own experience these devices can be a little pernickety.

That fixed it. I went back to your older driver and re-paired.
I think i'll try the newest driver and a re-pair.
Thank You
