Good morning message

Hello friends, I would like to know if there would be any way that at a certain time, I would receive a hubitata by Telegram, for example, good morning, the weather, circulation, etc., could it be done?

Yes, there are MANY ways this can be accomplished. Echo Speaks, RM, Webcore...just to name a few.

Thanks for answering friend, I would like a text message, not a voice since in the morning I usually read the news etc.

Both RM and webcore can send text messages to your phone. I am sure there are other ways...

and could you guide me how to do all this?

Hi, @diegodelprat , could you clarify your question a bit more, are you trying to send a message from Hubitat to the Telegram application? If so, search the forum for Telegram and you will find a couple of community-built apps that work with Telegram.

Hello, thanks for the help, I would like you to send me a message in the morning to Hubitat, to Telegram to give an example, to tell me the weather in my town, the traffic in my town, what day it will be, if it will rain, etc.

does anyone know how to help me?

Hubitat on its own will not provide you with all of the information you're asking for and I'm still uncertain of what you're asking.

To help you can start by explaining how in Hubitat you are currently seeing the data (weather, traffic, etc...) Is it in one driver/device/app, or multiple drivers/devices/apps?

Agreed this question appears to require some research on OP’s part before others can help with what’s needed on Hubitat’s end.

How do you get your current and forecasted weather info?

Same question re: traffic info.

Thank you for the answers, I think that you have not yet understood what I want, my idea would be that, for example, at 7 am or 6 am, instead of Alexa saying elon by voice, since at that time my wife is sleeping family, to send me, for example, a hubitat message, to Telegram, for example, or a notification, with, what the weather is going to be like today, the traffic, for example, if it will rain, the temperature, etc.

I use OpenWeatherMap-Alerts Weather for the weather in my area, I would like for example this data that it gives me, but in a message, I saw it in people who do it for HA and I liked a good idea to implement in HE

Does that virtual device have an attribute that describes, in a sentence, the current weather or forecast?

For example, with this driver I have the attribute circled in the screenshot. That could be used to send a message.

That's what I want to do but I don't know how to make that rule!!

You need to use rule machine to create a variable, and the rule actions would include setting that variable to be the weather device attribute “weatherSummary.”

You’ll still need a trigger for your rule, and then also the rule actions will need some method to send your notification.

Webcore could easily send this information to your phone, depending on your service provider and any texting restrictions that may be in place. However, using webcore may be complete overkill for you and not worth the time. I agree with @marktheknife , RM will probably serve your needs. If you choose to pursue the webcore route, please contact me for assistance.

Thanks for your help, I realized that weathersummary doesn't come up for me, and I don't know why, would you know?

Not sure if this works for all locations, but it does in Canada.
