or couple years I was using a Withing (cloud-based) integration only as a Bed Presence Sensor. At that time there was not any good reliable Bed Presence Sensor. Recently many thanks to @kkossev who pointed to the very nice Zigbee Pressure Sensor (Amazon.com: Zigbee Pressure Senor Occupancy/Presence Detector Stress Belt Hidden in Bed/Sofa Battery Powered Tuya Smart Life Home Automation M7 : Electronics) which could be used as a Bed Presence Sensor. And of course. @kkossev created HE Diver for this sensor. Sensor works very well but "as is" it is a bit tricky to set it up as a Bed Presence Sensor. Sensor Pad is nothing more than a very sensitive "variable resistor", well made, looking good and easy to install. I already have DIY Hubduino Controllers (thank you, @ogiewon) for the Reverie 5D adjustable beds. It was very easy to add this Sensor Pad (only a sensor pad) to the existing controllers. It uses ESP32 ADC Input. The sensitivity is very easy to adjust for the specific installation.

And now my setup is 100% cloud-free!
No more cloud-based integrations!
Everything is 100% local control!

Wow! This app has gazillions of features. But, in my case all what I need - is a very reliable bed occupancy detection. Originally I was using Withings pads but they are cloud-based, relatively slow and not 100% reliable. This added pressure sensor does a very nice job. What I would be interested in - is a relible snoring detection but not cloud-based. My adjustable beds equipped with massage vibrators. So, if I can relible detect snoring I can turn on massage for few seconds. My good guess, this should gently wake up snoring person and therefore stop snoring.

I’ve been using Withings as well… just ordered 2 of these Zigbee sensors! Looking forward to trying them out!

Current WAF is very high. But if I'll shake only my side it will be through the roof.

Maybe something exists that can detect a certain level of noise - as generated by snoring…? That could be a trigger…

Yes, this is a correct driver for this sensor. Current version lucks sensitivity adjustment (I think, this is possible). I had a minor problem to put the sensor "as is" in right place. But I am using a pad only with my DIY Bed Controller and this works ideally.

Yes, this is a microphone. But it is not easy to place microphones in a right place for detecting reliably who exactly is snoring. Detecting snoring sounds is also not a trivial task.

The presser sensors work great, we will see what the life span is on the device, but I purchased 4. Three are currently in use.

Could you give me any pointers or links on the hubduino controller. I would like to try out the pressure pad.

Which pressure pad do you want to try? The one discussed above is a ready-to-go Zigbee Pressure Sensor with HE Driver. The reason why I am using Hubduino is existing DIY Hubduino Bed Controller and I simply added this pressure sensor to it. However if you want to dive into DIY Hubduino here is a link to the project:
