I believe I have fixed my issues. I uninstalled the Amazon Echo app and installed the Amazon echo skill on HE. I then installed the Amazon echo skill via my Amazon account. I deleted all devices from Amazon and re-ran a discovery and now things works again. I also went with the generic zwave dimmer driver for the fans and they work as well.
So I wrote an app that puts a band aid on this issue here is the link to the git hub:
So I just tried to see if my app is no longer needed for this issue. And I sad to report it is. but now I get a bug when the fan "is not responding"

This is for the GE Fan Control. So it looks like its an issue with the mapping between alexa and hubitat. I'm running 2.1.6
Have you tried using the Alexa Voice Command as "25%" for low, "50%" for medium and "75%" for high? I never could use "low", "medium" or "high".
I reported the issue which appears to be related to the built in device driver. A workaround is to us a user driver like this one here.
I installed this driver in the drivers code window but I still have the same issues, I am new Like I got it today new, but having the same issues as everyone else. Did this driver fix the issue or did I do something wrong?
There is a known issue with this. We are awaiting a fix still.
If you are using the built-in driver and added code to the Driver Code page, you didn't change anything. You just added the Potential to use another driver. To actually use it, you go to the Device Info page for that device and change the Type to be the new driver.. found all the way to the bottom. Save the device and then click Configure on the Device Info page... which sends the config that new driver wants to see as it's starting point.
thank you SMH Newbees lol
Same issue still
Any ETA on a fix?
I even re-issued the device to the Alexa app after deleting it and changing the driver. Same problem still.
Now every echo Dot does a red ring report every time I command a fan.
