Finally!: Zigbee USB Smart Adaptor (SONOFF ZBMicro)

Any other conclusions on this device? Have all the network stability issues been resolved?

It definitely seems to work better on with the Zigbee 3.0 chipset on the C-8 and later.

I can only use these on a spare C-7 as the only devices on the Zigbee mesh. (My main C-7 has a huge Zigbee mesh).

For anyone thinking of ignoring everyone else's advice and braving this device on a C-7... don't.

I made it only a couple of days before my first network crash. Ended up moving it to my mostly-unused SmartThings hub and setting up HubiThings Replica, which is a clunky solution but seems to be working much better.

Can you check whether your device has firmware 1.0.5 or it is still on the older version 1.0.4 ?

The crashes still happened for me with 1.0.5.

i now have 3 of them on 1.0.5. no crashes .. what driver are you using

Yep, updating to 1.0.5 was the first thing I did, in the hopes that it would be enough to avoid a subsequent crash. Alas, it was not.

I used whatever the default was when adding it to the Hubitat (can't see now, as I've moved it over to SmartThings). Are you using a non-default driver?

Try this driver - it handles some Sonoff ‘specifics’.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, in my case, I still ended up with a full network crash after about a week. Seems like it maybe it lasted longer, but still not long enough.

I have no explanation for why these problems exist in some environments with the C-7 hubs... In my case, my C-7 Zigbee network stabilizes 24 hours after adding the Sonoff USB switch and I have not experienced any further problems,

BTW, the latest HE production platform version 2.3.9.200 and the HE inbuilt 'Generic Zigbee Switch' driver should handle the Sonoff 'specifics' the same way as the custom driver.

You can also try the Tuya USB switches. These are not known to cause any problems in HE and are working firn with the HE inbuilt drivers :

Thank you, this works for my device, Tuya Zigbee/Wifi USB-A 3x outlet adapter.

I had to change it to Generic Zigbee Multi-Engpoint Switch, and then hit configure, it would then create the child devices that allowed me granular control at each usb.

Leaving this info here for anyone that might come across it later!

I have one of the Tuya 3x USB adapters, and installed the "Generic Zigbee Multi-Endpoint Switch" as the driver. I don't see how to individually control the USB-A sockets. I see that there are endpoints ["01","02","03","F2"] but I don't know how to invoke or access endpoints.

Guidance, anyone?

Nevermind! Figured it out (I guess I've never had child devices before). I saw the extra link at the top of the device page for the product, and the endpoint links were there. All is working now, user misunderstanding aside.
