I'm struggling with some basic motion automations that are either taking forever, or not running at all. Just about all my motion automations are delayed in the seconds to 10+ seconds range. I have one in particular with no clauses that should prevent it's running but which is not turning on or off any lights.
Lights are primarily Lutron Caseta with a few Lifx (which are having their own non responsive issue, perhaps related to switching to native support?) And hue as well. In the automations it's a mix of triggered by zone or individual sensors (mix of SmartThings and Iris motion sensors), and individual dimmers and scenes.
I can share logs, but I'm really hoping there's some obvious starting point here.
Perhaps focusing on one, with a screenshot and even a small amount of logs would help.
Also, are you referring to the Motion Lighting built-in app, or one of the other rules-based apps?
Post a screenshot of your rule so we can see what the logic looks like.
I use a bunch of Iris v2 sensors both solo and as motion zones. I'm not seeing any delays like that.
Edit: What version of the hub are you using?
It's a C5. And we're talking primarily about the motion lighting app.
These are screenshots of the three major ones that are going badly right now.
The Lifx aspect I suspect is separate as that seems to be an issue of the lights becoming wholely unresponsive, not just in relation to automation.
Do any of the lights have any settings relating to transition times, etc, that may coming into play?
I'd also be interested to see the logs for one of the ML apps you showed, after turning on any logging options available in the app.
I would also be useful to see whether the hub is under any load, either through the run-time stats screen or using the Hub Info Community driver.

I sometimes have similar issues. You mention the info app. Never heard of it, do you have a link?
