Not entirely sure how to provide feedback or show issues on this but I have been attempting to get the ProtonMail beta setup for the email notification driver. The status/error below is what I get and the log indicates the same thing (as noted below). I followed the instructions as laid out in the driver.
I’ve setup very similar configurations with Proton’s SMTP submission ability and not had issues but guessing it comes down to the hub not supporting STARTTLS.
Based on the same release topic I found, I presumed this was no longer considered beta….? But I am not trying to use it myself, just a casual observer…. Perhaps @bobbyD can provide some clarity on the error message in the logs and/or the status of the integration.
I didn’t quite think of this but, i don’t think that you can run the proton integration without STARTTLS. Just FYI. So if they added it with no additional configuration that’ll probably answer my situation.
Which in that case, i’m fine waiting. Just wanted to provide feedback.
