Seems like that was it. I guess it just hadn't reported a battery level yet, which I hadn't noticed. Manually woke it up and now it's there. Interestingly, my list is slightly different from yours. Not that it really matters because I'm not sure why someone would want the other attributes to show.
Hello I just installed the Zen37 to control 2 Zen77 dimmer switches. Now instead of the lights dimming in and out my wife wants the lights to just turn on and off. I guess I should not have got dimmers. I have figured out how to get the lights to turn on full brightness without ramping up but when I turn them off they always fade out no matter what I select on the zen37 and zen77 settings. It looks like there is no option for 0 seconds, 1 is the lowest?
If you use my driver there should be an instant off setting on the Zen77
Ahh, I had your Zen37 driver because there wasn't one listed in hubitat but not the 77. I have the 77 now. Thanks for your contribution, I'll send you over a donation.
I'm trying to use the "hold" mode on buttons 13-16 to change the colors with Hue bulbs and I'm unable to get the "hold" button commands to work. Are they not supported on this device on buttons higher than 5?
It only has 4 physical buttons. How would you hold buttons 13-16?
Are you trying to tap 4x and then hold? The device will not recognize that, you can only do a single tap hold (buttons 1-5).
I am thinking about re-pairing one of our zen37s in mesh mode in order to do direct association with banks of iBlinds in the family room.
Do you know if I can set associations on both groups 2 & 4 simultaneously? I’m assuming so, but was curious before I excluded/reincluded. I’d like to be able to hit button 1 to open the blinds, but also hold/release button 1 to control the tilt to my (wife’s) liking.
Yes you can set both, it should work as long as the blinds use the Multilevel commands for the tilt.
Great. Thank you. That should improve “user experience”. Controlling them as a group in HE causes them to open sequentially.
Edit: for the record, direct association to a group of 3 iBlinds was worse. At best, 2 out of 3 would adjust after 10-20 seconds. Might try a direct association with an old minimote to see where the problem lies.
Any uodate on battery life eith vwry limited use before needing a charge.
The one that just sits on my desk was at 79% on 2/12 and is showing 69% today. I dont have events any further back sorry. Its been a while since I charged it. I am using a LIR2032 I got off amazon since my sample device did not come with a battery from Zooz.
Never charged this since it was installed July of last year, it is 40 percent. I have another with create time 1/19/2024, it has been charged twice and shows 100 percent right now.
Mine was installed Sept. last year, very limited use and is still 100%.
