I am currently using a Yale YRD256 Z-Wave plus door lock with a C7 hub. The hub is around 8 feet away from the door lock. I am able to control the lock from the hubitat and the lock reports status correctly. However, when the lock is physically locked (vs commanded to lock through hubitat) it does not update the status. But if I physically unlock the lock, hubitat does get updated and shows that it was physically unlocked. Any suggestions on how I can get the lock to update its locked status appropriately?
Seen this caused by turning too slow or not extending the bolt far enough to trip the sensor. Sometimes a beaming repeater can help as it can store and forward messages for sleepy devices. Might give Auto Lock a try as it performs checks. It's resolved this issue for others.
