Documention Links don't work

Your browser if forcing https when going to the conical name. Turn that off and it will be fine.

Why? This is the only website with this problem. My browser is acting like intended and this site worked in the past. You are suggesting a workaround and not a 'solution'.

The web site the doc's are on do not support https (no current certificate either purchased from a clearing house or self signed) so http is the only one available. So to reach it properly have your browser stop forcing https.

What browser are you using?

Chrome on MacOS.

Having similar problem with Chrome on Windows. I think a Chrome update may have caused it. My suggestion is to clear your browsing history. If you use incognito session do you experience the same issue ?

Using Incognito Chrome mode works. Clearing the cache make no difference on the regular session.

That means it's a cache/browser issue, as if it was on our side (other than having secure layer) would not have worked in incognito mode.

So the steps to resolve in Chrome:

  1. Type this into the URL Bar
    chrome://net-internals/#hsts

  2. At the bottom of that screen type in docs2.hubitat.com and click Delete

  3. Type
    chrome://settings/clearBrowserData
into the URL Bar and select and click Clear Data in the popup

Note: Substituting Edge for Chrome will get you the same screens in Edge...

Is anyone else finding that they cannot access docs2.hubitat.com ??

Server issue? Have the documents moved?

Nope - works fine.

Make sure that your browser doesn't force redirects from "http://docs2.hubitat.com" to "https://docs2.hubitat.com".

Now if you could just help me secure access to my garage so my wife can't get in there:

"Why do you need all these tools and spare parts? I think I need to help you organize and get rid of all the extra stuff."

Says the woman w/the walk-in closet and clothes in three other closets in the house as well.

:man_facepalming: :scream:

Curious long term will there be two docs sites or is the intent to consolidate at some point?

There are plans to consolidate, but not any time soon.
