Tried to add an LR device but it will not due to a known issue, but unknown solution. See here.
I wanted to see if an LR device would be able to work from my mailbox, it's about 50' from the house and it's metal inside brick. Standard Zigbee and Z-wave never worked in the past.
So I added it as standard Z-wave no security and set it in my mailbox, I hoped since I now have a C8 it might work. The sensor worked in my office where I paired it, close to hub, but once out in the mailbox it was unresponsive. I left it out there over night just to see if it would connect. I have two outside smart plugs on my front porch and I hoped it might. Never did, however.
So I brought it back in this morning and stuck out in my garage as I had been wanting to add another motion sensor out there anyway. On the Z-wave status page it shows the device status as pending. I have refreshed it many times. How long should it take for this to update?
It showed motion active and other events on it's device event page when I brought it in from the mailbox. So it is talking to the hub.
