Default to Old Dashboard Page or Disable Full Screen Dashboards

I just updated to 2.3.9 and I'm not yet ready (or interested) in Easy Dashboards.

How do I configure the Dashboards left column menu item to link to Hubitat Dashboard like it used to?

Alternatively, can I uninstall Easy Dashboard?

Disabling full screen of Easy Dashboards on the web interface would also work.

The "Dashboards" link from the left side of the admin page will list both Hubitat Dashboard and Easy Dashboard instances you have added. No specific configuration is necessary for Hubitat Dashboard dashboards to appear, and if you don't have any Easy Dashboards created, they will not (and cannot) show in your list. What are you seeing?

If I click on one of my dashboards, I loose the left side navigation because the dashboard goes full screen in v2.3.9

Ah. Two of various ways around that:

  • Before going to a dashboard, use the "dashboard menu page" link at the bottom of that page instead (or bookmark that one for easy access later); or
  • Open the dashboards from the new Dashboards page itself in a new window or tab (e.g., Ctrl+Click/Cmd+Click, tap and hold, etc.).

I assume this was done on the new page to eliminate weirdness that iframes can cause, but in any case, this doesn't have anything to do with the addition of Easy Dashboard per se, so removing that (which you can uninstall if it's installed) won't help.

Okay, how do I uninstall Easy Dashboard? I don't see it listed under Apps.

Don't like it.

There should be a setting allowing us to choose which page to use or at least a way not to open dashboards in full screen...

I'll add a feature request.
