Daylight savings time issue - no automations ran

Daylight savings time started for Some US time zones/states this morning (Fall back an hour).

Under settings/diagnostics/Hub details, the GMT is correct in both spots.

Under Settings/ HUB details - the time is correct and updated as it should have this morning...

I have lights set to come on 2 hours before sunset which just happened around 3:39 PM EST (my lat/long) - but the automations didn't run.

My Past logs do not show that any automations or actions ran either....

Any idea what could have happened ? Is this something that you have experienced before - or maybe just a fluke?

Thanks for the input.

Which app are you using for this?

Hmm... Mine have been firing properly. I have you few sunset/sunrise rules and they were fine

My rules that triggers at sunset worked fine. My one rule that triggers at sunset -15 didn't run. I check the rule about 2 hours before sunset before I was expecting it to trigger and I didn't see a scheduled event. I checked 10 minutes after sunset and there is a scheduled job for tomorrow. I experience this every year and am going to rewrite my rule to trigger around 4:00 then Wait until sunset -15.

Thanks for the input, guys....

My trigger is sunset -120. I don't have any sunset only rules....

Maybe in the spring we will see again lol.

FWIW, I have some Rule Manager rules that fire at 6:05, 6:45, 7:30, 8:00. The 6:05 rule triggered at 5:05, and the 6:45 rule triggered at 5:45. I noticed in the "Scheduled Jobs" section of the rules (when you click the gear icon at the top of the edit page) they were scheduled to run an hour earlier than they should. I clicked "Update Rule" on the rule edit page without changing anything, then checked the "Scheduled Jobs" section again, and they updated to the correct time. And the 6:45 rule that I fixed just triggered a moment ago at 6:45.

For years my sunset rules never fired correctly on the day of dst change. This year they were perfect! Congrats to the developers :+1:

I would wait and see what happens tonight.

Worked right on time tonight (11/7/22).

I've seen this happen, sometimes with updates. Its like the Hub is a little cranky and doesn't like change

My sunset sunrise all ran normally...

I can’t blame it. I’m like that sometimes too.
