Is that a family photo?
My friend has the outdoor Govee lights.
Programs/themes for various uses.
I want to do full light runs under the eves with addressable led's. I just haven't had the time to put it all together.
I have had them sitting in a box just waiting to install. I have 100ft which is more than I need to cover front of house but I don't know if I should spread the 72 pucks out across the 65ish foot front line of my house or just space them the full cord length between and not use all 72. They can also be controlled by WLED with a little wire cutting.
I am only installing under the eave of lower roof line. This is not my house but for illustrative purposes:
The only way I could safely install under main roof eave is with one of these:
I would have to do it only one time though.
I would need one of those, + someone like you who is willing to go up in it.
My son had one at his house for half of last year (he was working on interfacing it to a robotics platform, for programmed remote control). He said "Dad, would you like to go for a ride?".
It may have lifted my body, but it certainly didn't lift my spirit. I've never been so scared sh*tless...
The only thing that would scare the β β β β out of me even more effectively than being at the top of that thing, is knowing that in phase 2 itβll be controlled remotely by a robot .
Scary-scary. (Yes, the infrequently used "double-scary rating!!).
Imagine if you are alone using it out in the woods like that and the engine fails. Good luck getting down.
They actually have a release on them that cam be manually activated from the base controls or the gondala (I've rented a few)
LOL This picture is in his front yard, taken from near the road.
But what if you are alone up on the extended platform?
There is a manual release in the gondala (the platform) that will release the hydrolic pressure slowly... I'll tell ya though, those things still make me nervous despite how safe they are.
You are still wrong.
