Can't add Smart Start device in mobile app

I'm unable to find the "+" symbol on the Device tab in the mobile app. I am a new Hubitat user (just got my devices yesterday) and trying to setup a Ring keypad and search of the commounity shows this is best setup via Smart Start. So, I downloaded the Hubitat Elevation app on my iPhone from App Store (v 2.1.0 (383)) and it connected with my Hubitat via cloud. I also signed up for remote mgmt and protect subscription. My hubitat hub is a C8 Pro and plugged in to my local network via Ethernet. I did have local login and SSL required but then turned that off to try to troubleshoot. Ultimately, the issue is I don't get the "+" symbol on the device tab in mobile app to add Smart Start devices using the camera, and that's a problem for adding other devices eventually, I have been successful at adding other devices like Zooz temp and water sensors. Anyone know why this is happening and what to get the "+" symbol so I can add SmartStart devices?

Regarding my home network: devices can see each other on the local network, and my Hub remains at the same local IP. I've tried connecting my phone via WiFi only and with cellular; same result.

This is a known issue, and is fixed in a beta version of the iOS app. The beta is a public beta, so you can install it.

Follow the directions to sign up for and access the beta iOS app using the directions in this post:

The current beta release of the iOS app is 2.1.1 (390), and I can confirm that the issue is resolved in this version.

Hopefully that app update will go general-availability soon -- I expected it to drop at the same time as (or very closely after) the 2.4.1 release.
