Can I use a smart dimmer to drive a dimmable smart plug? (and how?)

Inspired by this thread and this post in particular, I have created an app that (I think) easily allows button devices to be configured to control bulbs, switches, and dimmers. I would say it’s worth a try. It is super easy to setup and very powerful.
