Sorry about that. This format tends to overwhelm my tablet.
I have just migrated from C7 to C8 Pro using my latest backup. All my devices and app/rules show correctly in the new Hub but I am unable to activate any device. Nothing complicated, just switches and lights. Something very basic is missing. I have connected to Wifi and set the speed to Auto, The new Hub is in the same location as the old was. Suggestions welcome.
Thanks

Are the uncontrollable devices Z-Wave? Zigbee? Or LAN/WiFi?

My guess is that they are Z-Wave, based on other recent similar reports post migration.

Tagging @support_team as I really do not know what the recommended solution is for this specific scenario.

Did you use a local backup, or the specific migration tool?

A few of the older devices are Z-wave, the others are Zigbee. The backup was from the last cloud system regular backup. Radio issue maybe?

Did you do step 5 and 6 in the instructions here How to Migrate to a New Hub | Hubitat Documentation specifically

  • On the new hub, select the Migrating from another hub? link
  • And (ensure Migration-ready backups is selected from the Show dropdown), then select the "migrate from another hub" icon

If you just did a normal cloud backup/restore, I don't think the process will work correctly.

What is your power source? PoE splitter, OE supply or other supply?

Also, check the z-wave details page, do your devices show there?

Have you tried shutting the hub down and unplugging for 30 seconds (to restart the radios)?
