C7 locking up every few days - what do I look for?

Howdy! I sent you the requested hub ID and Mac - did you get that ok?

It locked up this AM (still is right now), and the LED is blue.

I did have the Watchtower installed - should I go ahead and soft-reset and are you interested in those logs?

I think as long as you do NOT "clear logs" when you soft reset then @bobbyD can still see the old engineering logs. He wont be able to see them unless the hub is running so you will need to get it back online.

You can post screenshots from the watchtower charts, might give some clues.

OK - @jtp10181 and @bobbyD - I have done the soft-reset of the hub. Here is some screenshots from the Watchtower charts. Note that I misunderstood the direction intended for @darrylyong was for me, so last night I rebooted the hub with the "rebuild DB" option, so you see that in the charts.

Thank you for any help! Please note that I am leaving the country for 3 weeks beginning Monday, so really hoping to have this resolved, as the people left here will have no idea how to fix this if it goes out... :S

This is kind of suspect. Looks like some sort of extreme DB compaction happened shortly before the hub went offline. Can you zoom in on that and see if that correlates with the same time you have the backups scheduled?

Looks like something similar may have happened on Aug 13 as well though, just slightly off the chart to the far left.

Here you go - did you see that I had done a “rebuild database” on the 13th, which might account for something. The DB drop on he 14th does correspond to the nightly reboot, which happens at 2:15 am each day.

You have a nightly reboot?
Turn that off. Its obviously not helping anything.

my apologies! I meant nightly backups, not reboots...
