I went to update a lock code on my C-7 today. I noticed I was WAY behind in updating, so I did. Now it won't connect to my router, meaning the C-7 doesn't show up on the router's client list. It is connected to my router with an Ethernet cable. The C-7 has an address reserved in the DHCP settings. Power is via the AC adapter that came with the hub. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting power several times. The LED always changes to blue after a minute or two, but still no connection to the router. I tried the network reset button twice with no improvement. (The LED does not change from green to blue while holding in the network reset button, as the "read first" posting indicates - I only changes to blue when I release the reset button, which I did after 20 seconds.) From my searching here, it seems that I can't do anything if the hub can't connect to my router - no diagnostics, no restore from backup. Is this true? I made a backup before updating, but I still would need to connect to my router to downgrade even if that is possible. Suggestions? Or is my hub toast?
Please provide your hub model (C7, C8, etc.) and its platform version from Settings>Hub Details.

Thanks for the reply.
Your description of the LED flashing is what I see.
I did power cycle the my router.
I did not try a different cable. It was working before the update for the last 2 years. It is almost never physically touched.
I always make note of versions, except for this time of course. The backup file contains ".2.3.3.122" in the name but I think that's the new version.
I just glanced over at the hub and the LED is flashing between blue and green. Now it's green. I guess it tried to reset. Still not showing up on the router client list.
So the only thing you suggested that I hadn't tried was a cable. Guess what. The new cable works. I went back and forth between the old and new cable to confirm. I changed back and forth between ports on the router. Both ports work. It's the cable. That thing was sitting on top of my modem, tucked away on a bottom shelf. It was almost never touched.
Anyway, I'm back. Everything is working as it was. Thanks for pushing me to do what I knew to do and was too stubborn to try myself.
