The second time I reported it was here on July 18th.
Several users of Tile Builder and Remote Builder have experienced the same problem. It also occurs on both Chrome and Edge and has been around for quite a while. I suspect it was introduced early in the year.
The problem is this. When you load two cloud endpoints into iFrames in short succession you will often get the wrong output being presented. This is how it should look.
If I bump the delay up to 1 second it will work correctly most of the time and display the first image. I would estimate 90% - 95% accuracy with this level of delay.
Security Issue
Once in a while it will throw up the output to an endpoint that is not even one of the ones listed on the web page. So I could give someone access to an Endpoint for Weather and one for Batteries and they could get inadvertently get access to the Door Locks or Security System. Obviously a huge security issue.
I believe the issue is caching and what is happening is that Door Locks or Security System had activity just before I do a refresh on this page and the Hub is giving them that Endpoint content instead.
Hey gary, how can i set 1second delay like you did on the loading of the cloud endpoints? to make it "usable" for now, i really need those 2 cloud tables on the same dashboard. Thanks!
I don't have a delay mechanism, that was just a thing I did for testing. But if you put the endpoints on different devices (instance) it should work O.K.
Just to give feedback, even with 2 Remote builder apps and 2 diferente storage devices, the problem continues, same bug loading endpoints. Thanks, we appreciate the help. Think we have to wait them to fix it properly
I was thinking one instance of Remote Builder with a SmartGrid pointing to two separate Tile Builder instances. I think I tried that and it worked, but it was months ago now so I would not swear to it.
