Hi, I'm currently with RGBW hue bulbs (800 lumens) and I'm looking for something brighter for only cold-warm white. I don't care about colors.
Should I go straight to the Hue 1600 lumens or are there other cheap alternatives?
They of course need to work well with HE
Lifx makes some 1100 lumen bulbs with an E26/E27 base.
I like them very much. Full color, and white from 1500-9000K.
Thanks. So they're just called Lifx? any chance for an amazon link so I could know what to look for?
Unavailable
Are they the same as these ones?
BR30 are more of a flood light shape, here’s another link for the A19 though:
Also, the BR30 is exterior rated (IP65) and offers a 210-degree beam angle compared with the 135-deg. of the A19 style.
So they are less suitable for a living room space?
Temporarily out of stock
I'd say the A19's are meant for "normal" living space usage, whereas BR30 (as the spec suggests) is more like a "reflector bulb" that you'd use for "floodlight" applications.
Really? Says in stock for me and let me put 30 into the cart…
Meanwhile, a quick search on Amazon reveals this 1300-lumen dimmable color bulb that costs under $14. Like the others @thebearmay linked you to, they get great reviews and appear to be in stock!
nothing is in stock. Maybe it's because I'm outside the us?
That could very well be the cause…
ikea 1000lm bulbs (but are best linked to a hue bridge - but may not be what you are after).
Currently there are only 806lm bulbs in my country
ahh that's too bad.
Also try LiFX.com
Also Sengled may make some 1000lm bulbs.
Thanks but they are not available to ship to my country
