Z-wave table blank again. C-8 on 2.3.7.140. Has happened in the past and a reboot takes cares of it. The bigger issue is it is happening multiple times a week.
Any log messages or maybe messages in the hub events that refer to a zwave or backup issue?
That's not good. Be sure to drop a warranty case by visiting the following page. You may have a hardware malfunction, if you can't identify any obvious misbehaving Z-Wave devices:
I still have not rebooted it yet but that repopulates the table. Z-wave still working the whole time. I can wait to reboot if you wanted to see anything.
When you do, don't just reboot. Shut down from settings then unplug power for 2 mins then bring back up.
Mine did this awhile back during the nightly maintenance and support got on my hub and found an app that was making the hub angry. I removed it and didn't have anymore issues. I would reach out to support and see if they could do the same and look at the engineering logs of your hub. My app was some APC battery backup tie in.
I believe it was the telnet to the interface card one. It was a while back on my C7, I believe, so not sure if that issue has been resolved since.
there is NO bug in the app. there is something else going on with your hub.. i have it polling 3 separate ups's on one hub and 2 on another.. unless you did something stupid and set it for every minute and overloaded your hub possibly.
either way nothing with the app would affect your zwave table.
I had it set for every 30 minutes so no stupidity here. Like I said support told me it was making MY hub angry, I didn't say there was ANYTHING wrong with your app. I removed it and the problem went away. It could have been conflicting with something else and that was the one causing issues. I was just stating what support told me about MY hub and what resolved it. Not sure how me saying an app caused mine went to this level but ok.
I'm running 2.3.7.140 and the same thing just happened to my z-wave table. A reboot fixed it. No hardware changes to my system in weeks.
Blank again. Happening frequently. Reinstall Rebooter app and set it for 2:30am. Got up at 5am and blank again. Check logs and the reboot did happen at 2:30 so it lost the z-wave table in just a few hours. After a reboot z-wave table was back.
Shut down, unplug power for 2 mins and power back up. Likely your radio is corrupt and rebooting won't fix that, only disconnecting power for several mins will.
Have several times.
Have you done a soft reset then power disconnect?
Done. Hope this helps.
Typically a regular reboot will not resolve this, so the rebooter app is probably not doing anything useful. Usually a shut down and removing power for 10+ seconds is required.
That being said, the Z-wave radio is probably crashing.
Check the Logs > Location Events and Hub Events tabs for any errors about zwave crashing.
Hope this helps.
Did you follow-up on this suggestion from @bobbyD? As he has noted, you may have a hardware malfunction.

Blank again and I did try a warranty form and it will not take my mac address.
