Must admit it did raise a few eyebrows when first seen.
Lived in Phoenix for 40 years. Donβt dismiss 1200f!
But it is a dry heat!
In Michigan and surrounding areas we get all the heat of the Plains and moisture from the Great Lakes. Not Texas bad, but bad enough.
That's baby stuff compared to 98F with 100% humidity. And big-β β β skeeters. Welcome to Louisiana.
