For problematic SmartStart inclusions here is what I recommend.
- Shut down the hub and unplug.
- Factory reset the device
- Power off device.
- Boot hub.
- Add/verify SmartStart Entry
- Open new logs window for hub.
- Power up device.
- Watch for SmartStart started log entry, should be within 60 seconds.
- Device will pair within 30-60 seconds after that.
If device is still not pairing trying doing an exclude on the hub and device, hub should say unknown device excluded and then kick right over to the SmartStart pairing shortly after.
