Mode tab is no longer working although error is gone.
Simply doesn't load or update on home screen
I keep having to log back in on every Android device. This is very annoying. Is there a way to fix this?
Im seeing the exact same thing.
Modes via the android mobile app seem work fine on the latest stable platform build (2.3.9.166) but does not work on any of the more recent betas (2.3.9.168-.170)
(tested with Android app build 253 and 254)
Confirmed
Same for me
The new version of the app keeps looging me out as well.
Samsung S22 on Android 14 latest ota updates on 2 different phones.
That might be it, I'm using the same user login on each device. It's too bad, because I really didn't want to have to deal with 3 separate accounts mainly for presence.
It worked fine with the old app.
Wrong platform version shown: 2.0.3 (253) - reported platform version incorrect
Logging out constantly: 2.0.3 (253-254) Still logging me out every time I go to use the app
SmartStart using name of last device: SmartStart used the same name/location as previously joined device for a new device - #4 by jtp10181
Maybe I am not thinking about this correctly. If you have two phones, call them User A and User B. You are saying these users always home or away at the same time?
In my household, each phone has it's own login so I can track presence separately, and through logic add up whether the house is occupied or not.
And so on.
You aren't doing presence that way? If you aren't doing that, just how are you doing presence?
And you shouldn't, or at least, that is not the case at the moment. We are still investigating the log out issue and will update as we learn more.
The mobile device that's created when you first install the app on a new phone is what is tracking the presence. Having separate logins for the app is not required.
