I have HE c8. Everything was fine. Got a new smart plug for the Christmas Tree lights and can't add it. Did a zwave repair, so devices fail to ping. It's like my zwave radios have given me the middle finger. Not even sure what to do. The Smart outlet #1 is Aeotech Smart Switch 7, it worked after several attempts. The 2nd ones is a zooz. I saw a device found, initializing but nothing. I have a zooz smart relay for my garage doors and a few zwave extenders throughout the house. My August lock is also decade asking with my 2 other smart locks downstairs. Please help
First thing I'd try is to shut down the hub (via Settings), wait to confirm red LED on hub, then unplug power to it. Wait 30-60 seconds, then plug it back in.
This power-down sequence will reboot the ZW radio (whereas a basic restart won't).
Aww, ok, I didn't realize that. I will try that and report back tomorrow.
This solved the problems. I had rebooted it but I didnt do what you suggested. My boxes are working again AND I was able to finally add some new smart outlets. THANK YOU
Glad that helped! It may not hurt to review your Z-Wave Details page (in Settings) to ensure you don't have any z-wave ghost entries -- those are usually entries with a "Discover" button.
If you have any ghosts, you should remove them -- they'll mess with your ZW mesh sooner or later.

Another couple tips...
When you are adding Z-Wave devices, check your Z-Wave Details screen after adding each device and confirm the device details are OK and go to the devices device details page to confirm that you can control the device/see updates from the device. If you find problems stop and resolve them before continuing trying to add any other devices.
See this topic for info on dealing w/Z-Wave ghosts, which can be created when the pairing process doesn't complete properly.
If you are adding multiple Z-Wave devices in a row, doing a shut down/pull power/wait 30s/restart cycle mid-way through the process, after adding a few devices, can help to ensure a smooth pairing process.
