All zigbee switches failing, bulbs too

This may not be the best repeater for the nearby Zigbee devices. Power it off by removing it from the wall socket to avoid interference while troubleshooting the other devices.

What is WS-ZB-repeater ? If the intention was to use it as a dedicated Zigbee repeater, you can start troubleshooting from this device.

Same question for the WS-ZB-repeater - Zigbee model/manufacturer and the driver used.

channel scan is empty.... Hub is on 20 pwr 20, I upped it from 8

The HE Channel Scan is known to be inaccurate and not particularly helpful, so it's best to leave it as it is.

Increasing the C-8P transmit power to level 20 is also not recommended. Doing so creates an imbalance between the hub’s power and the devices’ power levels, which can lead to hard-to-diagnose issues. Keep it at the default level (8). Later, once you have a solid Zigbee mesh, you can even try lowering the C-8 power level to 4.

So far, we’ve identified two problems:

  1. The Sengled plug does not pair with the C-8P hub.
  2. The WS-ZB Repeater is not used by any battery-powered device, probably not functioning at all.
  3. LaniaXmas1 does not function as a reliable repeater (or is not communicating with the hub at all?).

Start with the Sengled plug that is located closest to your hub,

  • Use this pairing method to pair it again with your C8P hub. It always work for me and for many others.
  • Ensure the Zigbee communication is reliable and fast (turning it on/off should work 100% and there should be no noticeable delay.

Please repeat the same checks for both the WS-ZB Repeater and the LaniaXmas1 device.
I previously asked for more detailed information about their Zigbee model/manufacturer data and which drivers they are currently using, as we may need to experiment with alternative drivers that provide more detailed diagnostic information.

I suspect the problems started after adding the LaniaXmas1 device, which may have destabilized the Zigbee network. Combined with possible Wi-Fi interference, this can easily lead to the behavior you’re seeing.
The good news is that these issues can be resolved by building a solid Zigbee mesh, using the mains-powered devices you already have as repeaters.

Was the old C-7 hub still powered on while you were experiencing the issues with the migrated C-8 Pro?
So it looks like temporarily switching back to the C-7, then shutting it down and powering up the C-8 Pro again, is what ultimately resolved the problem?

exactly, no the c7 was not powered. When I got the c8 I just set it on top of the unplugged c7 some months ago. So switching was easy. I was going to sell it but I think not no, will keep for a backup
