I have the HEM reporting but all the power values are negative. Any ideas what I should change?
Reverse the CTs on the wires?
I have the same issue. I’ve not had time to switch my clamps around. I did not have this issue when I was using it with ST.
Huh, so assuming you DIDN’T disconnect the clamps when you moved the HEM from ST to HE, then I’d say that there must be something going wrong in the driver.
Agreed!
I have tried both firmware 1.35 and 1.31 and both had the same behavior with negative readings.
I just received my gen5 HEM and am having trouble getting it setup. At this point are we using the built in driver for the Aeon Home Energy Meter or do I need to use the one referenced above? If i need to use the I am having trouble adding it. I have tried including the device in secure and unsecure numerous times.
What am I missing??? Thanks for your help!
I'm still using this
@vjv how often are you reporting in your settings? Thanks.
Thank you!
I was finally able to get the custom driver to install. So that is better. I now have a few states showing, but it is not updating them. Do you have any suggestions to get it to update and show all the states?
Still in need of some help if you are willing. As you can probably tell I am kind of new to all of this and having a little trouble working through some of the kinks. I am getting closer, I think. I had to switch the CT's in order to get it to read correctly. It is not automatically refreshing the information and also not showing detailed info for Clamp #1 and Clamp #2. Please let me know what to try next. I do not know where to find the data about what firmware I am currently running.
Edit. Reading through the thread again I found v.9 driver modified by @cuboy29 for this that seems to be working.
did you ever get this working? I am seeing the same thing now. Been emailing Aeotec for help but no luck so far.
I just ended up using the stock driver, I'm only using 1 clamp on my electric dryer to detect if it's running so I don't need the extra features of this driver.
I also used the basic zwave configuration tool that Mike Maxwell provides to configure the settings to my needs.
Hi, is the driver compable with the ZW095-3P4 aswell?
It´s the 3 clamp, 3-fase version.
Or are there any other drivers out there for it?
I am also trying to know if the 2 clamps monopase version works? I would like to install two of these to monitor all my house..
Have you got a web link to the device description ??
Curious if anyone is getting actual Energy readout (accumulated power usage,) on their OG HEM? I swear I used to get this info on Hubitat, but I haven't seen it in some time. The instantaneous power updates quite well. Using the built-in device driver. The laundry DTH also does not report accumulated power. I'd like to create an automation that notifies me with daily power costs.
