Adding custom drivers - unable to save

I'm trying to install the Inovelli White Series Matter Advanced Device Driver (https://raw.githubusercontent.com/jvmahon/Hubitat-matterTools/refs/heads/main/matterTools.InovelliWhiteSeriesMatterAdvancedDeviceDriver.groovy), but clicking save causes the page to load indefinitely. I've waited several minutes, and no driver appears in the list. There are no errors in the logs.

I'm running Hubitat platform 2.5.2.139 (C8 Pro).

Anyone help is appreciated.

Edit: I noticed the instructions refer to the zip file here instead: Hubitat-matterTools/Inovelli/2025.09.01 - Inovelli White Series Drivers.zip at main · jvmahon/Hubitat-matterTools · GitHub. Tried this and still having the same issue.

I get an immediate error w/line 9 when I try to save the driver...on C8-Pro and C8-Pro Thread, both on current beta (2.5.3.104): :man_shrugging:

According to AI, I needed to install all the libraries found here: Hubitat-matterTools/Inovelli at main · jvmahon/Hubitat-matterTools · GitHub I've already done that, so those errors are resolved, and now its endlessly trying to save it.

Hopefully someone who is actively using Inovelli gear will chime in.

You can also post a question on the author's github.

Thanks for trying!

I also noticed that the instructions on Github referred to this zip instead (which I believe doesn't need seperate install of the libraries): Hubitat-matterTools/Inovelli/2025.09.01 - Inovelli White Series Drivers.zip at main · jvmahon/Hubitat-matterTools · GitHub . Tried this and it still has the same saving issue, but I've edited my post to include this.

This has been happening to me on a couple hubs when saving Apps code. Hangs up on the "Save" even though it actually did save the code. C7's Ver2.5.2.116 and up.

unfortunately, its not saving to my drivers.

I had that driver installed for a little bit. You need a full suite to get it working. Ultimately, I switched to [RELEASE] Inovelli White Series VTM31-SN Matter Community Driver as it is updated for firmware 1.1.5 and above. The jvmahon driver needs updating, but the author moved onto Home Assistant and away from Hubitat.

I purchased the VTM30-SN which doesn't seem fully functional with at driver. I'll post on that thread anyways. Thanks!
