Activity rule to shutdown hub in a power failure

My comment was in response to your statement that you've never heard of the Lutron bridge becoming corrupted. Now you have.

Okay...now will you answer my question?

I would just like to thank @codahq and @bcopeland for giving the suggestion about that Ring Range Extender and the driver for it.
I just got it from Amazon, and installed it - no problem with that driver.
(It just seemed to me to be the simplest, easiest, approach to this problem...)

Thanks again!

@bcopeland I think I saw the new Aeotec water sensor driver you released also has power source state, so it too could be a trigger for such a rule, correct?

Yep.. Assuming you are using the dock and have it powered by usb and battery..

My honeywell t6 pro thermostat driver can also report power failure if you have it hooked up with c-wire and battery

So .. I currently have drivers for 3 devices that have power source capability

I personally like the way you did the driver via a child device.
That way, I can use RM or Notifier to report if that child switch is off.
