Retested on a C-8 Pro, 2.5.2.128, with a virtual thermostat and a dedicated scheduler. First reported here (2025) and here (2023!).
- EcoMode offset stacks. Changing the offset while EcoMode is on adds to the previous offset. Scheduled 19, offset 2: 17. Offset 3: 14 (expected 16). Offset 2: 12 (expected 17). EcoMode off: 14 (expected 19).
- EcoMode off while Away resumes the schedule. Away setting 21.3. EcoMode off from a rule sets 19, the scheduled value, while the app still shows "Away".
- Away setting can't be restored. While Away, after a manual change to 17, neither Set Scheduled Temperatures nor RM's Activate Scheduled Setpoints returns to 21.3. In Day mode the same button restores the schedule. Is that intended? I expected the Away setting (21.3) to be applied, which would give a way to restore it.
- Selecting by thermostat reaches one scheduler only. With two schedulers on one thermostat, an RM action selected by thermostat always went to the one with the lower app id. When that scheduler was restricted, the action was lost, although the other scheduler was active. Selected by app name, it works. Both kinds of action are labelled with the thermostat name, so a rule doesn't show which scheduler it controls.
The Set EcoMode Offset action label from the 2025 report is fixed.
