Is there anyone here who can get a Hue motion sensor to update without spending 1+ hours pressing the firmware update button hoping that after 50+ attempts (as some have reported) it will finally update, while simultaneously watching the logs?
As a product owner of a software team I would have never put something like this in production. The UX portion of it is horrific. After three months of this being released is there any resolution for these devices? If not I would suggest pulling the devices that you can't get to work from the firmware update process and maybe put a tooltip on the firmware update button that explains "nothing will visibly happen when you push this button as you would expect it to... check the logs"
Some of the recommended "smooth" upgrade processes are, well, laughable? Factory reset, re-pair, wait until 2am... C'mon! This should be in some alpha release.
