Mine was also on 1.2 when I purchased it but I since upgraded it to 1.22.
Mine would randomly drop off the network and effectively "factory reset" itself. There were many times when I convinced myself it was fine because it would go sometimes 6-8 months without a glitch, but it's a bug in the firmware and eventually it happened again. There was a post somewhere on a Home Assistant forum where I found the information and the firmware files. I updated the firmware to 1.22 around a year and a half ago and haven't ever had the device flake out ever again. Actually just go here:
