I'm having similar problems with one of my ZSE18s. After a few hours of acting normally, it locks on to the active state. My last active in the events was just after midnight, and my family has been up since 6am. Definitely motion.
The device is also showing no configuration.
It was showing Battery at 1 two days ago, so I changed it. Now its not reporting battery at all.
