Zooz ZSE29 Outdoor Motion Detector Stopped Reporting Valid Lux Values

Within the last month or so one of my ZSE29's has been reporting 800+ lux values in the middle of the night.

Has this happened to anyone else? I had been using the dial on the unit to set the lux value, and had to switch to app control, which is fine, but still...

@agnes.zooz ?

I've got the physically identical device by another brand (we don't have Zooz here). Mine doesn't report battery levels to hubitat - does yours? Anyway over time I have learnt that devices will often report false positives as their battery is getting low. So check that out, and don't necessarily rely on the reported level if there is one. Some of my devices stop reporting battery levels at 42%, right down to the point of battery death!!! I think I'd try changing the batteries and if that fixes it, that's what it was,

They are plugged in to house power.
Just the lux on one unit is always high, even at night.

It sounds like a configuration issue. Have you tried excluding the sensor and re-including it from your installation location?

I'll try that, but, again, it's reporting 800+ lux in the middle of the night.

Actually, I'm pretty reluctant about taking it off the siding and pressing the tamper switch. Although, it's powered by a usb plug, and maybe it'd exclude and include by power cycling, but I'm not certain. I'm thinking maybe leave well enough alone.
