Zooz Zen14 plug is paired and I have installed the Zooz Zen Plugs Advanced Driver. It creates a single child device. Should there not be two child devices so that I can control each one independently? I am not sure what I am doing wrong?
If there was any switching of drivers before you landed on the current one, it’s possible some old fragments are gumming things up.
You can use the (plain) Device driver to clear out all curent states, child devices, scheduled jobs, etc to ensure that the slate is fully clean before going back to the desired final driver.
I am not seeing this option for a driver. Not sure why?
I am not sure why I don’t see this option. Maybe it is because I am using an older C7 Hubitat.
Picture was from a C7. The "device" driver has ALWAYS (as far as I know) been available on all of the hubs as a generic driver.
Go to the device
Go to the Device Info tab
In the device type bar, click the dropdown
In the search filter bar type "device"
In the results below that, scroll UP - it will default to your currently selected driver which is near the bottom since you are using a "user" driver. So, you have to scroll UP to get back to the system drivers.
My hub wasn’t up to date after updating I got this to work. Thanks
