on android app, the device shows up as - Unknown device type "Other". use hub UI...
But works correctly and shows up without issue on the Web UI. tried excluding, including a few times with same result. Anyone with thoughts? thanks.
The "Devices" tab on the mobile app will not display useful information for every kind of device device. It's basically a pre-built dashboard and, like an actual dashboard, will let you view the state of or control many kinds of devices. For this particular one, it's telling you that this is one it doesn't know about -- and that's totally fine, because it's just a repeater (not like you can do anything to control it, like you could turn a switch on or off or view its current state).
The actual hub UI will always offer full control over any device, including the ability to change preferences or remove it from your hub. The mobile app is an optional companion for things like the above.
