Works great on C7 and C8. I have 3 older ones and one new S2 model.
I think the biggest issue was the original Z-wave firmware the C7 shipped with which has since been provided with updates.
If you have one of the new models, it can pair with S2 or No security easily. An old Model will pair with S0 and you may gain some extra performance by getting it into No security. I feel like it should work OK with S0 though using the current firmware updates.
Zooz also updated the device firmware to NOT send repeat motion events every 7 seconds, so this helps as well.
