This is a zwave+ switch @mike.maxwell

Few things:

  • it is not recognized by HE after joining
    --I had to go into the device and set it to "Generic Z-Wave Smart Switch"

At which point it does not seem to report status. So tried "Generic Z-Wave Switch", and zwave poller.

Asks:

  • can the device handlers recognize this device
  • why is reporting not working? - this device claims to support Lifeline for "manual reset"

no idea, when the driver has debug logging enabled, and you manually toggle the switch, you aren't seeing anything in the live logs?

I have no idea what this event: (1. Lifeline association only supports the "manual reset" event.) is, it sure doesn't sound like on/off.
Might also try the generic zwave outlet driver instead.
