I was trying to setup some home automation for my dad (who lives in India where there's 220v power). India doesn't seem to have good options for Zigbee or Zwave devices so i was going to get him something from the US (as most of his outlets accept both US and Indian power cords).
All the Zigbee smart plugs I could find on amazon.com seem to specify 110V. Will these work in a 220v outlet? Power adapters for usb seem to work across a wide voltage range (110 - 220) so wondering if the same is true for smart power plugs as well. If not, any suggestions on how to find US-style Zigbee smart plugs that work with 220V? Ship from the EU? The main issue with EU style smart power plugs in India is grounding, or lack thereof.
