So, my understanding is that there are some Third Reality firmware updates. I'm wondering why, after hitting Update Firmware on any of my Third Reality motion sensors, temp sensors, contact sensors, I get nothing in the logs - even with debug logging turned on?

Edit: Nevermind. I was checking the Device logs, but the update was in the System (Hub) logs, not the device - and the update was successful.
I have some of these motion and contact sensors and just updated all of them a few days ago. Surprisingly, I just tested again, and it looks like I have another version incoming.
Which version of the hub software are you on, and which firmware versions for the devices?
Note that the log entries show up under the hub and not under the device itself, so if you click on the “logs” button from the top of the device page, you’ll need to click on “clear filters” to see the logs for the hub.

I noticed a bunch of my Zigbee devices have "Update Firmware" button and it is active/clickable. I went through all of them and thought after each device updates the button would gray out - no? Any way we can see if a device has an update available?
No, the command is always available (it is a command implemented by the driver, and like any device command, there is no way to "disable" or gray it out).
You can check the firmware information listed in the "Device Info" tab of the device detail page, compare it to what the manufacturer provides in a changelog if you're lucky enough for them to do so, and determine if one might be available that way (and whether it is one you might want to apply -- in general, I would not suggest doing this on a Zigbee device that is working fine if you do not have a specific reason to do so). Hubitat has to have these, either from the manufacturer or from publicly available sources, for the hub to be able to have one, so this alone is no guarantee. As of now, there is no way to see what specific files are available for a specific device.
Beyond that, "Logs" will tell you what is actually going on, e.g., if clicking the button finds and update and what the progress is after that if so.
So what you are saying is... on the Device Info tab - we need a new field that says current firmware and one that says "available" firmware.
