Zigbee Switch not working

Hi,

I have the following device

  • endpointId: 01
  • application: 50
  • manufacturer: _TZ3000_hhiodade
  • model: TS0011

It is a MOES zigbee single gang.

I have the custom driver
Zemismart ZigBee Wall Switch Multi-Gang

It pairs fine but then pressing the buttons does nothing.

I have another one which is working fine.

I also have 3 Yagusmart combination 1 gang and 2 gang that also work fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi @joint ,

Make sure you are using the latest version of the "Zemismart ZigBee Wall Switch Multi-Gang" driver : Zemismart Zigbee 1/2/3/4 gang light switches - #36 by kkossev

It's better to start from scratch -- update the driver first, then delete (remove device) and pair it again. Is this driver automatically selected?

Thank you. I am using the latest.

Have removed and added a few times.

It picks up that driver as part of the discovery.

Once managed to get the off working but then became unresponsive.

Thanks

When you say "..I have another one which is working fine." - is it exactly the same model and manufacturer as the problematic one?

After what time the switch becomes unresponsible - 1 minute or more?

What are the first 6 digits of the problematic switch Zigbee ID - are these 70B3D5*** ?

Hi,

Thank you.
Problematic generally as soon as i add. once i added and it worked for like 10 seconds.
Problemactic device details:

  • endpointId: 01
  • application: 50
  • manufacturer: _TZ3000_hhiodade
  • model: TS0011
    zigbee id A4C138E57179D79B

working device

  • endpointId: 01
  • application: 50
  • manufacturer: _TZ3000_hhiodade
  • model: TS0011
    zigbee id A4C138C4BB277B07

both bought at same time from amazon from same supplier. got qty x 2.

one works the other not. very odd.

OK,

Update. left it a few hours. Went back and removed device. added the device and not it is working fine.

very confused.

Thanks

Sometimes based on distance from the hub, a device will take a while to get initially configured.

The resolution to these things always seems to be include repeaters, repeaters, repeaters!

Maybe add a few zigbee outlets around to improve mesh routing options depending on how far apart the zigbee devices (and hub) are from each other.

HI,

I have a few samsung plugs in the region. though is a small house. 2 floors, a few bedrooms.
how do is set them to be repeaters?

thanks

Are they paired with the HE hub? If so then they should already be repeaters.

Hi @joint .
Are the devices one gang?
All my switches are Moes and i have 1/2/3 gangs.
I have the same issue with one gang ones.
Only the closer ones work. So bought repeater but didn't help. Now i am not sure if the problem is repeater cause i don't know if it works properly.
I wil move the hub closer and check if the problem still exists.

@joint and @kkossev
So my problem is solved.
I just moved the hub close to devices like 3 meters.
Paired them again and instantly press the configure button. They started to respond.
Now i moved the hub it's first place and they are still responding.
In all tests repeater was working. I am not sure about if the repeater is working properly but now everything is working fine.

Update:

Just to be sure i turned off the repeater and again two of them stopped responding.
After turning on repeater everything back to normal so repeater is working
Hopefully it will work for you.
