Zigbee RGB Controller - Use Effects

So I have the following zigbee controller

Aliexpress Zigbee 3.0 Smart Pro RGBW RGB CCT Led Strip Controller

and I have it working with the Generic Zigbee RGB Light, but that just turn it on and off and change color and brightness, Are there any drives that enable the Effects?

Or another controller that we can use effects one. I mean having them one color is ok, but there are times I want it to cycle through the colors slowly, other times I want them to flash ect..

I think what you may be looking for is a smart app to create effects and not a driver really.

Does that controller have effect modes and do you have documentation that explains it. That controller doesn't appear to be for RGBIC strips so the entire strip would be the same. That could be handled by a app or rule to create the changes you want.

Most of the time when i think of effects it is automated by the controlling device and we send one command to initiate it. But my experience with that is also mainly on RGBIC devices.

Not looking for an addressable controler just the standard rgb strip that are all the same. They have effects like flash rainbow where it slowly cycles through the colors ect.. most rgb controller have this, but have not found a zigbee driver that gives controll over that.

Just trying to reduct the wifi devices i have and wanted to switch to zigbee where i can.

Also for addressable strips i use wled

There are some apps that can do that though so the device driver doesn't really need to support it. I think the app "Holiday Lights" allows you to do various full stirp color automations fairly easily. One question i would raise is what is the zigbee command that does that action.

I would suggest just using a app that will create the automations you want if it uses the same color across the entire strip.

Can you post the device Zigbee model and manufacturer, as shown at the bottom of the HE web page, ‘Device Details’ data section?

It does indeed need to work in the driver because its zigbee and the apps dont talk to it via zigbee.

Wifi devices yes then i can use the app. But i dont know of any app that can control zigbee rgb controllers. How would the phone even connect to them?

Smart app in Hubitat not on your phone. The smart app Holiday Lights in hubitat would let you set the colors to use and the time on each one andthen the Hubitat sends the commands needed to make it happen to the strip.
