Zigbee Repeater

Good afternoon

I've recently upgraded to the latest hub and I seem to be having a couple of issues with the rules.

A couple of my blinds don't always work - they are quite far from the hub, but I thought most zigbee devices were supposed to act as repeaters, so I'm not sure why these aren't doing it correctly. Is there a repeater I can get if not? The house is full of mains-powered zigbee devices - smart switches and that kind of thing...

Thanks
Chris

Does the device respond well if you use the commands from the device page?

To piggyback off of what @dstutz asked, how are they supposed to be working?

Do you have automations configured that automatically adjust the blinds? Do you manually control the blinds from a Hubitat dashboard? Alexa, Siri or another voice assistant?

In general this is true, so you probably don’t have a lack of repeaters as the underlying cause of the issue you’re experiencing. But what devices are they?

They are mostly the Benexmart zigbee blind engines (although I've seen the same thing sold as Tuya too).

I have them set to run as part of rules, but †hey don't always seem to respond to the app either.

Thanks
Chris

I think you should get them responding to commands from the hub reliably before worrying about automations. The latter will probably start working OK once communications are reliable. I'm not a master zigbee mesh network guy....but the above seems to make sense.

I probably should’ve been clearer but was also asking about the wired zigbee devices you’re using as repeaters.
