Zigbee network is offline

Hi, I have a C7 and a few dozen zigbee devices.

I've browsed through the threads here but haven't found any exactly the same case and solution.

Three days ago my zigbee network stopped working. In the notifications it says "Zigbee network is offline".
I have never dealt with a similar event, zigbee has been working reliably for several years.

I didn't connect any new devices or new app that might have thrown off the zigbee network. I updated to the latest firmware the night before. But that's just a coincidence, zigbee was still definitely working after the system reboot.
Maybe just another coincidence... Around the same time the zigbee stopped working, my power socket went off and the power started coming from the UPS.

I have tried so far:
Disable - Enable Zigbee in zigbee settings (still Status offline, Pan ID 0000, no channel)
Downgrade FWR + Reboot
Soft reset + Restore DB
Unplugging from the outlet for a longer period of time + Reboot

All I have left is a complete reset of the zigbee radio...but I don't want to do that yet.
Is it possible that the hardware has gone? Or is it just some little thing I missed? Thanks a lot for any help!

Check the logs for chatty devices. Check your hub event logs for clues.

I tried looking for any unusual behavior in all logs. Nothing strange...
I deleted a few devices just to be sure. And do the same - zigbee disable/enable, soft reset.
Still zigbee network is offline...

Now, this is coming from someone who's divested 99% of his zigbee devices and is not in the beta program, but a 10/31 post seemed to say that the beta version(s) is addressing this, or attempting to. You could join the program and give it a whirl. Also, @bobbyD might know something.

After a few days of leaving the hub off (a lovely Christmas when I still had to explain to my understanding wife that something wasn't working at home), I tried restarting the hub a couple of times. The zigbee periodically reboots after a few minutes, always shutting down for good after a few hours. After rebooting the hub, the situation repeats.

I've gradually taken down all 100 devices, always checking the logs. No change. I also turned off all applications. Finally there is no traffic on the hub at all. Zigbee keeps shutting down after a few minutes.
The very last thing I tried was to turn off the whole wifi in the house, but it didn't change the situation.

Unless anyone has any ideas, I'm closing the case as a HW issue. Last chance for HE support @bobbyD to respond:-)
I'm pretty pissed, but whatever... I'm ordering a new C8.

Did you file a support case? Even if you are out of warranty, filing one would be the prudent thing to do at this point. While the forums are often a good place to interact with staff, this may not have been noticed by support staff for a variety of reasons.

My ZigBee went offline a couple days ago. I don't know why. But a simple reboot and all was good.
It goes offline every few months. Last year i had to go to ZigBee settings, do a reset, and re-pair all my devices.

Same suggestion as here: Help with an Unreliable Hub - Unstable Zigbee Mesh - #14 by bobbyD

If you have non-compatible devices, I would start removing those. I see that you have quite a few Tuya devices. Those are known to cause Zigbee radio to go haywire at times. I would start there. A new hub would not help, unless you are rebuilding the network. If you are planning to use the migration, very likely the problems will follow you on the new hub.

This worked for me, for short zigbee radio resets, might give you some pointers.

Thank you @RobDaBush
That thread was helpful, though my problem was elsewhere. I suspected those Sonoff miniswitches but it was something else. The best insight was that I need to remove the device not just disable it.
I started removing the device again as I had done before. And suddenly after removing one Tuya switch the reboots stopped. But this device was not suspicious, no suspicious logs or device stats at all.
The best part is that after rebuilding the database and repairing all removed devices I finally decided to add the problematic device again. And everything has been working like clockwork for a few days now. So was it this device or was not, who knows...:-))
Thank you all for your help, I learned a lot again.

So.. Is there a way for the Hubitat to send a notification if the Zigbee or Zwave networks go down? perhaps kickoff an automation that restarts the hubitat?

I was thinking, if there is no way to have RM restart the Hubitat, it could kick off a virtual switch to an Alexa switch that forces a reboot.

Substitue zigbee for z-wave
